“We are honored to provide this important event and look forward to continuing this new annual tradition next year as a way to bring together our community leaders in celebration of the U.S. Constitution,” said Michael Higer, partner and co-founder of Higer Lichter & Givner. The Miami-Dade County Commission issued a proclamation designating September 12, 2012, as “Constitution Appreciation Day.”

In her speech at the U.S. House of Representatives on September 11, 2012, U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen discussed the Constitution Day event hosted by Higer Lichter & Givner as an important part of the Constitution Day federal observance.

“Tomorrow, at 5:30 p.m. at the Miami History Museum on West Flagler Street, local law firm Higer, Lichter & Givner, in conjunction with History Miami, will host students, veterans, business and community leaders, and all who wish to join, as they gather together to read and honor the Constitution. This is a wonderful tradition, and I strongly encourage everyone to take part in this important event.”
